In Academic Year 2021-2022, DEFCon awarded 30 Teaching Fellowships to support the development of coursework at the intersections of ethnic studies and digital humanities. DEFCon Teaching Fellowship Recipients receive a stipend of $2500 and an assigned mentor to support their work. They also receive support from a DEFCon Steering Committee member.
