DEFCon’s Virtual Annual Meeting is a space to discuss research and teaching at the intersections of digital humanities and ethnic studies. The 2nd Virtual Annual Meeting will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023.
We cordially invite all members of DEFCon to submit a proposal to present their work at the Virtual Annual Meeting. This is an opportunity to share your work in a low-stakes and supportive environment. Works-in-progress are welcome!
Proposal formats:
- 12-15 minute presentations on research in progress or teaching experiences in digital ethnic studies
- 5-7 minute lightning talks on research or teaching assignments and outcomes in digital ethnic studies
Proposals should be 150 words max. and are due by May 1, 2023. Submit your proposal here.
